The Art of Delegation: Thanks Henry Ford!

The hardest step in growing a business is identifying tasks which you will personally complete and those that are better handled by others. When Henry Ford made the assembly line, he realized that it wasn't efficient for one person to handle each task from start to finish, so people specialized. They perfected one aspect and that's what they were trusted to do.

That's what a Virtual Assistant is, an assembly line worker and your business is the finished product.

The First Delegated Task: This is the hardest, because you are trusting a new person with your business. But we can start small and then move into more complex issues. For instance, maybe you just need a VA to make an appointment for you. Once that goes off without a hitch, maybe you let us skim your e-mails now and mark those that need attention and archive the rest.  As the trust builds and the VA handles more tasks, you will begin growing your business while we are in the background helping to keep it smooth.

The Benefit:
Right now, it is plausible that a lot of time is being lost on tasks you could delegate. So instead of spending your time researching a new client, you can spend time recruiting another one. Or spend the time however you like.

Nonetheless, it is clear that business success comes form delegating tasks. Why not let a Virtual Assistant begin to handle some of your work and let you be as productive as possible?
